Responsible for planning, organising and implementing numerous simple and complex client facing projects within the Data Centre ‘White Space’. This will involve managing various teams and suppliers across various projects with the focus on delivering safely, on Time, within budget and to a high standard. The Project Manager will work to the site-specific Client Services Programme Manager providing regular reports and updates to ensure projects are delivered in a timely and efficient manner. They shall also work alongside Sales, CDEs, Technical Operations, and Build and Design with responsibilities covering customer requirements, design requirements, and technical assistance.

The purpose of the Head of Transitional Security role is to lead the design, implementation, and transition of robust security measures for data centre construction projects across the UK and Europe. In addition to supporting Arks commitment to Health and Safety standards, the position requires the post holder to act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME), converging inputs from diverse internal and external stakeholders, including construction and design teams, customer experience, technical and electronic services, operational security, and specialist security consultancy firms, to ensure seamless integration of protective measures throughout the project lifecycle. Reporting directly to the Director of Security, the role involves managing the entire security project lifecycle, from initial design consultation (RIBA Stage 0 onwards) to final commissioning* and handover to the Security Operations Team, while ensuring strict compliance with HMG, NPSA (National Protective Security Authority), and European security standards (where applicable). Collaborating closely with the Head of Electronic Security to ensure all ESS products meet security standards and undergo thorough compliance assessment.

As the Mechanical SME, you will work closely with external consultants, vendors, and contractors to ensure that mechanical systems are designed and delivered to meet the operator's requirements for reliability, scalability, and energy efficiency. You will be responsible for ensuring that all mechanical systems align with Ark’s operational goals, industry standards, and best practices.

The Assistant Construction Manager is responsible for supporting or managing the Detailed Design and Construction of Data Centre offerings and associated infrastructure to the agreed budget and programme; including – procurement, budget allocation, design and supply chain management, delivery culture, contract admin, construction risk management, health and safety compliance, commissioning, certification and IST.
