Conflict and geo-political issues in Ukraine

Ark Data Centres

In light of the current conflict and geo-political issues in Ukraine and the wider Russia/Belarus region, we understand the situation rightfully causes concern to our customers and raises questions round the impact  of those issues and the sanctions imposed by Her Majesty’s Government as well as other western governments.

Ark’s services to our customers is not impacted by any sanctions imposed by Her Majesty’s Government or any other western government and accordingly we can confirm that our operations and provision of services continues to be business as usual.  Ark is not:

  • reliant on staff (direct or indirectly) based in Ukraine, Russia or Belarus
  • owned, operated or dependent on entities subject to sanctions imposed by Her Majesty’s Government or any other western government
  • dependent on supply chains based in Ukraine, Russia or Belarus or otherwise adversely impacted by the conflict in Ukraine

While we don’t expect disruption to our services in the foreseeable future, we remain vigilant to the changing situation and ready to respond.  We will of course  communicate emerging issues such as increased costs, restrictions or disruptions to availability of products and raw materials or any rise in transport/delivery or manufacturing timescales.

We remain confident that our established processes and procedures that held us in good stead during the Brexit uncertainties and more recently the Coronavirus pandemic, will also allow us to weather the uncertainties caused by this conflict.
